Game just went to OT. Frosh Jordan Crawford leads the team in scoring along with Jo Jak with 13pts.

UW-Milwaukee has a nice team. A 6'7" 310# guy that was shooting 3s... a few quick and "slasher" type guards. They were a good match-up for us.

We played pretty well for about a half. Had we put together an entire game, I think we could have come away with a win, but we didn't play very aggressively the first half, on either end of the floor.

Some good things to take away from this loss though....

Jordon Crawford is going to piss off the entire conference for 4 years with his defense, quick hands, and stutter-step moves. I was really impressed with this young man tonight!

Dee Brown driving to the hoop is a GOOD THING! He surprised me with a much more aggressive attack tonight. If he can hit a few jumpers, drive and score and drive and dish consistently, we're going to be in good shape.

I didn't recognize McElroy. He cut off the dreads.

Otis totally posterized a guy tonight. LOVE to see him be aggressive. Two dunks from Eric Marschall as well.

Man, I think this is one we could have won. I think Milwaukee was good, but we should have won it.

Oh... and if you weren't there. The STELLAR officiating continues at our games. I've heard of double-fouls... but these clowns called a charge and a block on the same play... yes, they said it was both a charge AND a block. Right.....

I thought it should have been off setting penalties with a replay on the in bounds pass.

Otis doing a tomahawk over W-M's big guy was awesome.

If we played defense the way we played at the end of the first half, we would have one, but we didn't.

We certainly had our chances with this one. We were up 5 with under 1:30 to play, sure would have been nice for Polk to hit one of those free throws too. That said, the good thing was one, it wasn't a MAC game, and two, we competed a heckuva lot better than our last two games. We've gotta chance to try and bounce back in two days with FIU here on Monday as well.

Is Jordan Crawford really 5-6 or is he smaller?

Grant, Grant, Grant - YOU ARE THE MAN! Two beautiful ladies sitting with you this afternoon. If only Metz hadn't been sitting there that might have been a Kodak moment 8-)

Hahaha... thanks! I am blessed! (and cursed by the likes of Metz at the same time...) ;-)

I may have to make a referral to your local CPS for the innapropriate attire of your poor, neglected, young daughter. She is a beauty, Grant.

The trick is still being able to say that when she's 16!
