About the UVA job...
The current Richmond coach is on the list because before taking the job at Richmond he was a DC at UVA. He is not my first choice but I wouldn't be upset with him.
Clawson is a name I've seen on a few wish lists but honestly, no one know what is going on. Golden from Temple and London seem to be the most obvious/likely choices, but we just got a new bball coach who no one saw coming, so maybe that will happen again.

As a UVa alum it would be great if Clawson could get the job, but I doubt it's likely. His family enjoyed their time in Richmond when he was at UR and his wife graduated from William & Mary (Williamsburg, VA). So if the timing were better he'd probably consider the opportunity if presented, but he's unlikely to move his family again and I doubt UVa will even approach him at this point.

Golden's name is going to be tossed around a lot with this one, I think. I'd be interested to see if it gets to the stage of serious discussions.

Im kinda hoping that Clawson stays here for a long long time. I would hate to see another urban move played on BG.

You mean another shooting star nobody expects to stay, leaves for a better situation, and wins two or more national titles?

Why do we continually have to go over this again and again. Urban didn't play any move on us. He left for a better opportunity. Can't blame him for that. He made $150k at BG and now makes over $4m a year...with two national titles and a chance at a third. Every coach plays it by the book and denies interest in aother job until the ink is dry on the contract at the new place.

We still owe him a debt of gratitude for turning this program around.
