Great to get the win! I read in the Blade that Dakich was in the crowd last night? Anyone get a chance to speak with him?

I know a lot of people who saw him and avoided him... it did look like a half-dozen or so people made their way up to speak with him though.

He sat up in the SW corner... way up on the bleachers in Section B. I don't know if he was there more for Isiah or for BG or just to see a game on the world's hardest floor.

I wonder if he paid for his ticket....

Forget all of that... I wonder if Orr counted Dakich from his office window as he pulled into the parking lot before the game.

Dan had some pretty stand-up things to say in the paper the other day. Said he's always kept his eye on BGSU, was keeping track of hoops and football here.

"I REALLY LOVE Bowling Green. I still go back a lot. I miss it. I had a great time there. I think Louis Orr has done a great job. I still follow them. I follow the basketball teams and the football team.

"My whole thing was to win the MAC championship and get to the NCAA tournament. I would have loved to reach the NCAA tournament for Bowling Green and the fans.... It still bothers me that we weren't able to do it. We got close two or three times. But the MAC is tough.

"We had a lot of great wins. Truthfully, to this day there are three or four games we lost I still can't get over."

Love him or hate him, he's a passionate guy... and I've enjoyed him when I've caught his radio show. I think he'll do well in the booth for the BTN this year too.
