Who is on BG's schedule besides road games at Troy and Michigan? Will we have Marshall at home?

I'm really pumped for the Michigan game since I'm up in Ann Arbor now. While I normally wear maize and blue around here, I'll be ALL orange and brown that weekend!

Amazing that we'll be facing two BCS schools, but the game @ Troy is undoubtedly the hardest game out of the 4 to win. We should beat Maryland and Marshall, and Michigan is a toss-up. Overall, it's a much easier slate than what we had this past season.

No Kidding. My boss has 4 season tickets. Really hoping he'll give me next year.

I have us at Bowling Green (WKU) instead of Maryland.

The Western Kentucky game has been moved all the way back to 2014.

Wow. If I had to bet against the Falcons in one of these games it would without a doubt be in the Michigan contest. It is "undoubtedly the hardest out of the 4 to win" IMO. Sure @Troy is, a road game in another time zone but labeling a game at the Big House a toss-up? I don't know about that. It would be a huge upset. Forcier will be a year older and I don't see Rodriguez's team getting any worse. Last or this year may have been the year to have U of M on the schedule. Not next year.

While I definitely agree the upcoming OOC schedule looks to be a bit easier at this point, no team on there can be taken lightly at all and circled as a a likely win.

EMU is now playing Maryland (on 9/11). Our home-home series with the Terps has been "changed". I believe this represents our OOC games next year:

9-11 @ Western Kentucky
9-18 Marshall
9-25 @ Michigan
11-13 @ Troy

Going to Michigan will be tough. This was RichRod's first year he had his own recruits, and until their lack of depth and birthdays showed up, that offense looked really good. That will be a tough game, but it should be winnable if we bring out best game.

Late season at Troy? Ouch. Troy generally gets very good down the stretch. They've won nine of their past ten. That will be a tough one ... maybe. Do they get good down the stretch because they are well coached or because that's when they play all the Sun Belt teams? After what I've seen this year, I have no doubt that the Sun Belt is far below the MAC right now. So that could be far easier than it looks, but I never want to take a non-conference opponent on the road late in the season lightly.

I don't mean to be a downer but if BG is gonna even think about beating Michigan or anyone else on next years schedule than they gotta find their new play makers as both Sheehan and Barnes will be gone. I think most of you are basing the games on this years squad. We gotta find out how Pankratz is going to do for us and who will step up at WR. Personally I'm a little scared but excited about next season. I'm really hoping that the defense gets better and that we find another great combo at QB and WR. Geter is a great back but will he have the OL on his side next year to create holes for him? I have faith in Clawson but I believe next year may be a little more tough. If we are playing WKU next season than I can see us winning there and with Marshall coming into the Doyt, I can see us getting payback, but with playing troy so late in the season and playing Michigan at the big house I think they may be very challenging games to win. Coach Rich Rod is progressively getting better and I think we will be playing a much tougher wolverines team next year. I hope the Falcons can pull it off and have a great season next year.

If find it interesting that most people seem to be handing the QB job to Pankratz. My guess is that between Schilz and the two incoming freshmen, it could be quite a race for the starting job, with a possible change a short way into the season. Evidently the frosh QB from Middletown is coming in in January which will give him a HUGE boost in getting familiar with the system going thru spring ball at BG.

I hope we have a good fight for the QB position. We have a lot of talent coming in but we need to utilize it!!
