Bucks vs. Ducks

Post by VDub26Falcon »

The Grand Daddy of them All is set and the Ohio State Buckeyes will take on the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl. I think this is going to be an awesome matchup and these two teams will face off in a great battle.

The Oregon/Oregon State game was fantastic to watch. I was rooting for the Ducks the whole way and was worried there for most of the game as they just had to keep fighting and fighting. I think they will matchup very well with Ohio State and we could see an amazing game.

I agree...the Oregon St/Oregon "Civil War" is one of my fave games to watch every year...although I usually pull for Oregon State. Had the chance to see both stadiums in Eugene and Corvallis a couple years ago.

Ohio State has players still eligible? I thought they were all suspended or ruled out? Or was that Michigan State?

I tried to give you all night and most of the morning today to correct your mistake but I think THE Ohio State University Buckeyes whooped that "azzzzzz" last night. Oregon never lead. Oregon got pushed around. Oregon got dominated.

HA HA

And Pryor looked very good last night.

Some momentum for next year

Tek, OSU did look awesome last night but for a brief time, Oregon did lead, 17-16. It didn't last long though.

Terrelle Pryor came out and played like he had something to prove, which he did, and he did just that. Bill Plaschke wrote a column that was in the local paper today apologizing for criticizing Pryor as much as he had.

All the critics said the Bucks would lose and that Tressell couldn't coach the big game and Pryor couldn't play the big game. I only wish OSU had another crack at USC next year.

oh yea...that lead must have been so short that it was over before I finished refilling my beer from the keg and reloading my plate with hot wings and duck.

my bad. Oregon still got dominated.

I couldn't agree more, Tek. OSU dominated in every aspect of the game, ESPECIALLY time of possession...41 minutes to 19 minutes (roughly)...and Oregon had that HUGE turnover by Blount kicking the ball out of the endzone. Pryor was huge and every bit of deserving of the MVP.
