Sorry....somehow I missed the sarcasm in the comment.Schadenfreude wrote:I think he was taking a poke at fans of a certain "university" in the next county.BGFan wrote:Why? Favorite plays of 2004 season?
I though the first TD was a good throw by Omar, but a great catch by Chuck against a top-tier defensive backfield.Falconfreak90 wrote:Omar's first TD pass at OK...that was big.
I was more impressed by the 2nd TD. I believe it was a corner route or fade to Chuck. Can't remember the exact play or number of yards it covered, but I do remember saying "wow" afterwards and knowing that Omar was going to be just fine in the MAC.
Attended three games this year, saw the UT debacle on TV. So, great 2004 Football moments, in chronological order ...
1) P.J. laying out against Temple. He just doesn't get enough props.
2) Macon's TD against Temple. Why? BG ran the same play ... four times in a row. Macon scored on the fourth try - on fourth down, running in virtually untouched.
3) Noah standing up during the Temple game and announcing, "This is the greatest football game I've ever seen."
4) Watching Noah, Josh & Jake (and rc_ziggy) playing football on the practice field before the Western Michigan game. Likewise, watching Noah & Josh hit the blocking sleds. Priceless.
5) Noah getting to talk to Omar on the sidelines during the WMU game. Then Mrs. Hart helping him get some autographs & photo ops outside the lockerrom after the game.
6) Practically every TD pass from the GMAC Bowl. I can't believe how good our receivers are.

That one of Pope laying out was a thing of beauty...
Also,
How about Teddy Piepkow's pick of the backup QB for Marshall? Had he run straight and not looked to see who was chasing him, he would have scored the 62nd point!!!
Crossley's fumble return vs EMU that someone mentioned was a sensational play...
So many memorable plays, so little time...
248 days til kickoff in Madison....2005 is gonna be huge.
