I bet whoever takes over at Richmond is hoping that Brandon gets a job somewhere so he can takeover when Brandon is shown the door...lol

I'm a bit surprised that Al Golden hasn't been mentioned as a candidate for one of the "prestige" jobs...and wasn't he an asst. at Va. at one time too? Even though I HATE the thought of Temple being in the MAC, and especially getting to go the a bowl in DC (where I was hoping we would go...could get my son, daughter in law and brother to go with me...they all live in the DC, Balt. area)...supposedly Temple "campaigned" hard to get this bowl...frankly, they should've been sent to Toronto...or better still, send THEM to Boise...they're the outsiders as far as I'm concerned...unless they're willing to commit to joining the MAC totally, they should'nt get any kind of preference as to where they go for a bowl game, better record notwithstanding IMO.

but then everyone would have complained that the non-fulltime MAC member got sent to a MAC bowl, of course I agree with the Boise part only because I'm bias and wanted BG in a closer bowl

Den:

I heard minor buzz about Golden regarding the Va. job, but it appears he was never really a serious contender. With Temple's resurgence, there's been growing talk that Golden may be the heir apparent to JoePa.
