I was thinking that Gill and his 5-7 record had squandered an opportunity after last year. Glad to hear he did not. I wonder how easy it will be to sell a 5-7 record in the MAC to the fans there. Iowa State had a guy have a bad record and then get hired by Clemson or Auburn, but he had direct ties to that program. Regardless, I hope he gets it.
