We're horrible, we suck. We can't score and can't defend. Eno blows, Hammond blows, sans JST we have no scorers, and Williams can't coach. MSU blows us away two straight.

Here's your lines for Friday:
Bowling Green
F1: JST - Solway - Dee
F2: Pageau - Perkin - Petruska
F3: Rodriguez - Boyd - Kantola
F4: McIntosh - Sinclair - Finegan
D1: Page - Ruel
D2: Grover - Krelove
D3: Moore - Rushing
G: Eno - Hammond

Michigan State
F1: Grant - Sucharski - Tropp
F2: Rowe - Leveille - Gazley
F3: Merrifield - Fortar - Golembiewski
F4: Chelios - Hayes - Hill
D1: Krug - Petry
D2: Crandell - Shelgren
D3: Josepher - Grassi
G: Palmisano - Jarosz

Notes:
- Paul Kelly is in town tonight meeting with the MSU and BG coaches. Paul was recently named the executive director of College Hockey Inc. This group was formed by the commissioners of NCAA hockey conferences to help grow the sport.
- Looks like Eno will be starting in net...not sure if that will stand at face-off. I almost would have bet a lung Hammond would get the start.
- Full press box tonight means the new guy gets kicked out to the little kids table.

BG loses 3-2 in overtime, MSU scores in the first 30 seconds of the OT.

Our live stats page still shows it 2-0 BG. I think I'll stick with that.

It was a really tough loss. That 5 on 3 we killed off was great, but we just couldn't get it done. We had some great opportunities and some great passes tonight. Lots of energy.

Soul crushing. Absolutely soul crushing tonight. I thought our guys played really hard and Eno made some great saves. The 5 on 3 penalty kill was one of the best defensive efforts I have seen from this team all season.

I felt really bad for the team as they were coming off the ice. They understandably looked frustrated and defeated. I hope they can move on from this game and come out strong Saturday night!!

Yes, we had opportunities, but that loss REALLY hurt. I feel SOOOOO bad for those guys. They played their hearts out. I honestly felt like I'd been thrown back in time....LOSING TO F*CKING MICHIGAN STATE IN OVERTIME.....Felt like I was back at the Joe.....How many times did we go there and LOSE IN FREAKIN' OT???????? GEEZ I REALLY, REALLY HATE STATE!!!!!! :smt021 :smt019 :smt076 :smt071 :smt072 :smt068
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

This one hurts. But, it's not all bad. We held them to 2 shots on 5 powerplays. And we scored a powerplay goal. And killed off a 1:48 5-3.

Oh, and Mrs. Cartwright, sorry about that puck coming your direction. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose #-o
