I honestly felt like I'd been thrown back in time....LOSING TO F*CKING MICHIGAN STATE IN OVERTIME.....Felt like I was back at the Joe.....How many times did we go there and LOSE IN FREAKIN' OT???????? GEEZ I REALLY, REALLY HATE STATE!!!!!! :smt021 :smt019 :smt076 :smt071 :smt072 :smt068
I really hate State and I really hate referees who can't seem to correctly call State running Eno over in the net... That essentially cost us the game with only 5:40ish left in the 3rd.

Oh, and Mrs. Cartwright, sorry about that puck coming your direction. I'm sure it wasn't on purpose #-o
You're right, Those stats are awesome...we also outshot them 31-24!! Still fuming from the loss however....

And luckily, Dr. Cartwright DIDN'T get hit...her guest did, who was a former Freddie Falcon!! ...DOH!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

It was a bit interesting to see Greg Christopher helping out cleaning the arena after the game...

This is just my final thought before tonight's affair: if we can't play our fourth line more than it will be very difficult for us to sustain leads and close teams out. Our top two lines were absolutely gassed last night in the 3rd and OT.

MSU will play Palmsiano in net (their #1) and BG will send Hammond into net. I plan on being in the chat tonight if anyone wants to join.

Beginning of 3rd, down 2-1. 2nd period goal by Petruska. Getting outshot 26-11. Taking too many penalties!

Max Grover is working hard to be our "bad" boy!!!
