BG down 37-22. Last year UD had 38pts for the whole game as we owned them. It appears that the IU transfers and a 6'10 fresman are making an impact for them.

Final = Detroit 73 BG-69

BG came within 2 pts. several times in 2nd half..couldn't get over the hump as UD would hit a bucket or get some FT's to pull back to 4-5 pt. margin.
Looks like a lousy 1st half did us in.

BTW- Crawford may be small, but he looks like a PLAYER!

I watched it thanks to the heads up from falcon boy.

My thoughts. We dont have scorers or great athletes and it hurts the entire team. No go to player at the end, nobody to penetrate and kick out. Scott Thomas is our best player and he should be 2 or 3. Crawford may end up being very good as you said. He is fearless and quick.

Thomas
Marschall
Polk
Just to see how it flows. They seem to be the ones who are always moving and looking for eachother as they cut and to help get open shots. Not sure how they would fair defensively, but offensively, atleast from what I saw in this game, thats a great lineup for ball movement and smart basketball.


I think thats the best lineup we have. Dee Brown may have been our top scorer in other games but maybe thats just because he shoots the most. He didnt look bad in this game but not great. Larson was hardworking but not special. McCelroy was another body.

just got home from the game.. BG should of won this game. It just took to long to make the adjustments, but when they did man they did good. When we were down 20 points and had 6 fouls with about 3 mins I was about to sit back and call it done. glad i didnt. that second half of the second half was amazing in my eyes.
Let's put this one away and win the next one!

Hard to say BG should have won this game being down 20 at one point. Detroit is now 7-4 so they must be a decent team. Calihan Hall has not been kind to BG over the years.

Sounded like a hell of a comeback that just fell short.

Falcons take on #21 Temple 12/28 in Philly.
