And we're a bad basketball team.

Well, at least against the good teams we are. At least we're beating our fair share of the bad teams. That in of itself is a welcome change from the Dakich era.

Yes, at least we're mediocre. That's why we haven't been to the NCAA Tournament since the 1960's.

Let's give Dakich a break he's been gone long enough. This team isn't very good right now.

Thank you, and its how amazing how some forget the early part of his tenture here when we were beating damn good teams and should have been an NCAA at-large team atleast twice.

Dakich had great teams, good teams, and bad teams. No need to bring him up his teams when he isnt here anymore. Right now we aren't a good team, doesn't matter who is coaching it.

Yikes. From AP: "The Falcons missed a whopping 20 of 24 shots in the first half and were doubled-up on the boards, 22-11. The Owls barely had to put a hand in their face as the Falcons rushed down and fired up errant shot after shot."

Temple's defense is historically outstanding, but that is depressing. Maybe the product of 9 days between games. Well, two potentially winnable games to go before the MAC.

I remember last year at this time we had some jumpers as well. "This team is horrible," and the like. Then they went out and won a MAC title. Let's try to stay calm. Breathe.

So Temple kicked our teeth in? Move on. Non-conference play in the MAC is like boobs on a mule - useless. Ain't gonna' be no at large bids, so conference play is all that really matters. So now is the time to gear up and be ready the second week in March. Like last year.

I'm still on the bandwagon and am looking forward some conference play.

It really makes me wonder one, what in the world is it going to take for this kids to see the floor again, and two, what in the heck is really going on with him and /or Orr?

See: Josh Freelove, University of Toledo, Gene Cross

Most athletic player, bigtime HS player, 26 per game in tough Florida league, gets three or four minutes per game. Don't understand but I guess thats why I'm not a coach.

99.9% of the time, players like this don't see the court because of a poor work ethic in practice. The other 10.1% of the time they don't see the court because of an attitude problem.

Maybe it's a math problem Tom? 99.9% plus 10.1% = 110.0% Oh were they suppose to give 110%? I don't think Austin will be in BG for much longer. This late in the year to have only played 6 minutes.
