Humanitarian Bowl - Game Day!

Post by musicman2343 »

Finally game day! It's 8:05am MST out here and looking outside, I can say that the blue field is probably white right now... It snowed about 3-4 inches last night. Field lights are on right now so they're probably trying to get the field and stadium ready for the game. While walking around town the past few days when the band has had time off from rehearsing, I've heard a lot of "Go BG!," "I hope your team wins," and not only that, but quite a few Falcons have made the trek out here. Boise townies have definitely shown how much they are supporting us in this game as well. Should be a great game and looking forward to three things:
1) Freddie Barnes breaking the NCAA record
2) BG win! (and coincidentally)
3) break the MAC bowl game losing streak!

Go Falcons!

That's gotta be some typo on a promo writer's part at ESPN. The guy calling the Kentucky hoops game last night did the same thing. But still, your talking heads should know the nickname of a team that plays three major D-1 sports. Idiots.

They were being stupid on Mike and Mike this morning too. The only reason the game was brought up was just to plug what they're airing at 4:30.

The two numbskulls they had on this morning weren't sure if it was Falcons or Eagles either. One of the guys said "fighting falcons". Ultimate fail, and they didn't seem to care that they looked like idiots either. I can't believe they're not ashamed of themselves for failing at their cushy jobs.

On a positive note. I'm hoping for a good game, and hopefully some plays make tonight's top 10 or something.

I'm wearing my BG Humanitarian bowl sweatshirt today. Here's hoping I can wear it tomorrow, Friday, and all weekend after a BG win.

GO BG!

Must be the non-football people having mascot issues, there was a promo during the Wisconsin/Miami game and they said Falcons

Fyi "fighting falcons" isn't a "fail"- it used to be on the ice arena press box in fact.

I've got the road white jersey on here in Scotland ready to watch on ESPN America!

The more excited I get about watching BG take the field one more time, the more annoyed I'm getting with the 3 1/2 hour Suh/Leach infomercial I see on the horizon.
