I've been trying to keep the shameless self-promotion to a minimum, but I thought I'd post a link today after my most recent article.
As Drew mentioned in an earlier post, I've started a BGSU hockey blog - Falcon Hockey Hooligan.
It started as a place to write snarky series previews and reviews. It has become a little more than that at this point, and the most recent expansion of its purpose was to write a series of Mid-Season Awards posts.
The series is complete, and I've named six award winners, for the following categories:
Freshman of the Year
Most Improved Player
Offensive MVP
Defensive MVP
"Flying Under the Radar" (the player with the most potential)
and
Team MVP
Check it out if you get a chance, voice your opinion in the comments, and let me know what you think of my choices.
Thanks!

GO ICERS!!
BEAT THE GOOFERS!!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
