Just an FYI:
FootballScoop has just learned that Bowling Green offensive line coach John McDonell has accepted the offensive line job at Memphis.

Re: OL coach to Memphis
hate to see that...i know from talking to a couple of the linemen over the last couple of years that the main reason they came here was because of him

Another FYI:
Toledo assistant coaches Jason Nichols and Scott Satterfield have left for Louisiana Monroe and Florida International, respectively.

Yes they have Joe. I was merely posting information that was not already on here. There was no other intentions by me.
Nichols left UT several weeks ago and we hired Northwestern GA Louis Ayeni to replace him. Ayeni played football at Northwestern (team captain his senior year), and played two years in the NFL before spending two years as an assistant coach in high school and then two years as a GA at Northwestern. He's got some really good ties to high schools in the Chicago area.
Satterfield was offered the FIU job a couple of days ago. The appeal of being the lone OC and in complete charge appears to have been enough to take him. UT should have his replacement in place within a week as they already interviewed several candidates at the Coaches Convention earlier in the week when looking for Nichols' replacement.

My eyes aren't what they used to be, but I don't see a Christmas tie in there. How can you claim to have good ties without a great Christmas tie?JoeFalcon wrote:As do I.rocketfootball wrote: He's got some really good ties

And a dirty one. Gotta have a dirty one. I inherited a dirty one from my grandfather. You gotta have a good Christmas tie and a dirty tie. The rest look pretty nice, Joe- hard to see the jacquard but patterns and colors look good.
