Coach Clawson was never contacted by ECU. Yet we have these "reports" all over. It really makes you wonder how these reports come out, where they start and how they take off. Might other schools feed these reports and make them breathe with life for a target audience?

I don't know.

But with this outstanding recruiting class nearly in the barn, the student athletes and parents can now focus on all the reasons they chose BG- coaches are one reason and there are many many others- and look forward to beginning their careers at BGSU.

I don't believe for a second that Clawson didn't speak to ECU. Of course he is going to deny everything, because he wants to keep his recruits. Hopefully these recruits are ready to step in over the next two years. Maybe some of them will be able to tackle.

drago- in speaking with Coach and others close to him etc, he was never contacted. Literally. I realize college football coaching is a business and coaches move etc. But THIS situation was a fabrication.

You can post other things on a board. You just would be wrong. These "reports" that he was "going to be named" etc are amazing. The man never left the recruiting trails or his BG office ansd sits with his little daughter at our women's bb game when all the "reports" that day had him literally taking the job "tomorrow".

Fabrication.

I was just trying to end this ECU matter. And the hiring of the other gentleman did end it officially.
