Like I said, he is a complete tool. Considering ut hadn't beaten us in 7 years...Hey Mark, you do know the all time series is now 40-26, right? Heh heh heh. So, ut snapped a 12 game losing streak. This clod never gets it.

Congrats ut on the win. It was a classic.

Just listened to the post game interview of Tricia Cullop and wow did she just rip into Eastern!!!

She said, 'We really don't care about Eastern anymore. They said we were not talented. They said we were not smart enought. They said we were not good enough to beat this BG team. I hope they see the score and then can just stick it.'

Now that is going to be some bulliten board material in a few weeks when Toledo travels north to Ypsi.

Gotta give credit to ut...they played well and their record was no fluke. It could have gone either way and ut made a play or two more.

So UT beats us finally for the first time in 7 years. Congrats UT for gettin one. Tough loss. We lose more credibility in pollster's mind for later on so gotta get back in gear and win out. One thing that was telling is our really lack of reliable post depth at this point. Zuercher is Breske's back up off the bench as a true center. Hennegen is sorta out of position playing center most times. With Geise still out with an unknown injury/illness we are really kinda short at this spot and it reared its head in a game were are posts got a good portion of the fouls called on them.

BG lost by 3. 66-63, I think. I don't believe either team scored in the final minute and change.

That is correct. BG didn't score actually in the last 3:30 minutes and only 3 points the last 6 minutes.

According to Coach Miller, BG clearly gave this game away down the stretch. But better to lose now than in March.

Being a broadcaster myself, any of those comments are completely unacceptable. People like that should be banned from the air. It's fine to question a call by the referees, but to keep harping their performance is unacceptable. Also, the "orange crowd cry" comment... don't even know what to make of that other than the fact that he is a classless human being.

Granted, the referees were terrible - consistently. It's one thing to be terrible and favor one team, but they were terrible for both teams... Shafir traveled every time she touched the ball, we got away with quite a few fouls, and also got some pretty interesting fouls called on UT.

Still, it was a hard fought game by both sides and overall a good game. We definitely made that arena a lot louder by our cheering. Side note - I think the highlight off the court was when UT's football team chanted to us in the student section "Why so quiet?" and we responded with "Football" and held up 3 fingers for 3 straight wins - they shut up really fast

We'll beat them in the tourney and win the championship. No worries! Go Falcons!
