Thursday vs. Michigan

Michigan is coming off a split with MSU, winning this past Saturday's game in late minutes 5-4 at Joe Louis Arena. BG is coming off a bye after a solid weekend sweep of Western Michigan. This could get very interested as we have had success in recent years against UofM. Michigan comes to BG Thursday night, then travels to Wisconsin Saturday to play in the Camp Randall Classic. Then we play in Yost the following Tuesday, a building where we have had great success the last two years.

BG got the Power Play going well against Western and that will be huge against this UofM team. Their PK is fast and can transition down the ice quick if we have a lapse or turnover in our their zone. If BG can stay outta the box against UofM we can have some success. Their team is too talented to give odd man opportunities to.

JST, Solway, Petruska, and Dee continue to carry the load for the Falcons but look for Thursday to get some new guys involved in the scoring column. The sophomore class of Sinclair, Vargas, and Mcintosh are all coming off very good last couple of weeks going back to the OSU weekend they have, 4 goals and 4 Assists since the winter break. This is exactly what you want out of a your 4th line checking line.

Big week coming up for the Falcons, hopefully well rested from their weekend off to take one at home from UofM.
