Wow. Have to say that's the first time I've ever read that sentence ... pumped for Toledo ... pumped for Miami ... heck, even pumped for Ball State. But never pumped for Buffalo.

First for everything, I supposed

We'll be there. I'm looking forward to it, too. Its a great chance to see what we really have. A win and I think we're on the move. By Sunday, it might have been just enough football for a while.

Even being new years and all, I am still suprised there isn't much talk going on about this. We just had a 6-2 start and are about to open MAC play against a pretty decent Buffalo team (never thought I'd see those words together)! I'm jacked up and ready for conference play to get underway for sure!

Who all will be there tomorrow?!

Man was that fun!! I love this team!! That's the loudest I've yelled in a year. This was a big win for us!! Buffalo was no slouch and was the type of team that I think we would have the most trouble with. They were fast! The game was never more than 7points either way, and both teams had runs. We were just tougher!

Fantastic win in a pretty good environment today!!

Was a pretty good crowd considering there were no students there. It did get pretty loud on a number of occasions. Perhaps the Anderson Animals shirts pumped up the crowd? ;)

That was probably the best game as far as entertainment value we've had since McLeod's senior year.

It was a great game. On a day like today, there's no substitute for Anderson Arena...even with all the empty seats. It got rocking at times, and we had a great time. My voice is hoarse, too. Very entertaining game, and a great way to spend the afternoon.

I can't count the times I looked to my friends and commented how loud the place was getting! It really was "The House That Roars" today! I can't wait until we get better crowds and it really gets going :D

I agree with all that has been said about today's atmosphere. I "adjusted" my weekend plans with my girlfriend in order to get into town for the tip off and I am glad I did. Got loud, intense, and we came away with the W.

Now with students, and some more wins, the place will definitely be rockin'. . . i just hope they turn down the heat a little bit in there. . .

Great win today. I agree that was one of the most entertaining games I have seen in a while. Back and forth, up and down the court, it was really fun. And since the students were gone, my son decided we should sit in the front row (just down from the Animals!). They were giving it to Turner Battle and he was giving it right back. It helped Battle's cause that UB was on a little run at the time. It all just added to the entertainment factor. :D
