Tonight's Game.....
Tonight's Game.....
Fans attending tonight's game may want to dress a little warmer than normal. The Bowling Green Fire Department was called to the rink this morning because of one of the boilers. They are working on the problem now, but until it's fixed there is zero heat in the building.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

This isn't anything to worry about. It's the same thing as watering down the field in football. Just don't turn on the heat in the building.pdt1081 wrote:Fans attending tonight's game may want to dress a little warmer than normal. For a team that's getting ready to play an outdoors game this will probably be nothing.

BG is going to play at the Doyt?
Re: Tonight's Game.....
God I wish we would. If only the cost wasn't astronomical.

Exactly. Totaly different story if you built an Ice Hockey Arena with a retractable roof, to play under the stars.pdt1081 wrote:Football stadiums are for football, NOT HOCKEY!BGDrew wrote:God I wish we would. If only the cost wasn't astronomical.

How about the pond out by the ski hill on the golf course. That would be legit, old-school, outdoor hockey...plus the hillside would be a natural seating area.
Du hockey comme dans le temps!
