A question about post-post season games

Post by Bleeding Orange »

Specifically, the Senior Bowl. I know Scott Mrcowszki (AHH!) is supposed to play, is anyone else from BG supposed to make the trip? Magner, Keon, anyone? We have a lot of deserving players, thats for sure.

Also, are there any other post-post season bowl games I'm forgetting about? I tend to go a bit stupid after the NC game every year in doing my best to shut-out the NFL playoff garbage so I always seem to miss something. And, if there are, can we expect any of our guys to be playing in them?

I believe the East-West Shrine game is played in late January in California, but I don't think any BGSU players have been invited to play. I think the Senior Bowl and East-West games are the 2 big "all-star" games.

Actually, he's playing in the East West Shrine game, not the senior bowl. Based on what I have seen from draft evaluations, I wouldn't think any other of our guys would make the roster.

I actually had heard that the senior bowl was cancelled, but I could be wrong.

The Blue-Gray game on Christmas day was the "all star" game that was cancelled.

Yeah, Scott's the only BG player in the East West Shrine Game. The other MAC represenatives on the East team are Nick Kaczur and Josh Davis, if you still include Marshall in the MAC.

Cole and Keon still have a shot at making the Senior Bowl on Jan. 29th. The complete Senior Bowl rosters will be released on Sunday, January 23.

Also just so everyone knows, Scott Mruczkowski will be playing on Jan 15th.
