Todd, outstanding pictures, as usual!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

I also agree with your comments about the team. The game was a blast to watch and I am very excited about the future of the program!!! I'm so proud of these guys!!!!

NEVER GIVE UP!!
NEVER SURRENDER!!

GO FALCON ICERS!!
BEAT THE REDSKINHAWKS!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Last night was a game of bounces. Unfortunately, the bounces didn't go our way. Miami's first goal, had the puck been flat on the ice, wouldn't have went it. The last goal, well, that's luck that even money can't buy. The guys played hard last night and should be very proud. They went toe to toe for 60 minutes with the #1 ranked team in the country. They need to come out tonight knowing that they can beat this team.

What a FUGLY game tonight. Redhawks score 2 minutes after the JST goal, and now the lead back up to 4, BG trails 5-1 and Miami back on the power play.

BG gives up a short handed goal. BG down 6-1 and to make things worse Kai Kontola picks up a game misconduct. And now we have a fight. Getting very chippy. Looks like the WWE came to the Ice Arena. Headlocks and sleeper moves. Miami player gets kicked out and the radio announcers say Police are going to need to be called into the arena to prevent a locker room brawl. And now Grover and Perkin is thrown from the game.

And now a 7:00 min PP for Miami to start the 3rd Period.

Just got back from the game. The Miami coach waved to the crowd before he was kicked out. Wow. That was ugly. I did enjoy how some of the guys never gave up. I did NOT enjoy being called a lot of names by Miami fans. It was an experience.

Thanks for the clarification. I was just listening on the internet feed and it said a coach was thrown out. I didn't catch the name but they said the coach was complaining about all the calls and penalties so I just assumed it was one of our coaches. Regardless, 10-2, is a very bad loss especially after the close game last night

Tonight’s game was an embarrassment to CCHA officiating. This game needs to be reviewed and Hall needs to be reprimanded in some capacity.

The officials let this game get out of control. The Miami thugs were holding down our guys and pushing them around all night. When all hell broke loose it was too late to save the game from an officiating standpoint. I have seen a lot of hockey through the years and this was by far the worst game I have ever seen.

In my opinion, Miami played some dirty hockey tonight. Vaive and LoVerde were big instigators in every thing tonight. Disgusting.

Our guys fought hard but when the officials take the game out of a team’s hands then crap like tonight is bound to happen.

Blasi’s departure was also a joke. Bowing? Clapping? Complaining when you’re up 7 to 1? No class. Period.

With the game out of hand why did we leave Eno in the game for so long?? It was obvious he wasn’t 100%. I hope he didn’t do anything that will keep him from playing in the coming games.

Both groups of fans left a lot to be desired. I heard reports of fans fights, fans chirping with media members, and noticed more than a handful of BG fans getting in the face of Miami fans and vice-versa.

As far as Blasi getting tossed it was pretty classless bowing to the official going off the ice. Short of that I have no idea what was said but it was said that he and Kevin Hall have had words before.

Regarding the line brawl towards the end of two from my vantage point Grover went in hard to follow his shot, lost an edge, and barreled into Knapp. I don't blame Miami at all for protecting their goalie but the cheap shot Grover took when he first tried to get into the penalty box should warrant at least a 2 game suspension. Add in Knapp leaving his crease to get involved and you should have a couple more games. But, BG's players weren't exactly saints throughout this game either.

Just an ugly, ugly game from all sides. This is definitely one where you get what you can from the game tape and throw it away.

Coach's press conference was so quick I forgot to tape it but I grabbed audio. When the athletic department posts their video I'll embed it here.
