First Toledo, now Marshall.
Johnathan Goddard, the starting left defensive end for the Herd, was arrested this past Sunday after hitting a police officer. The early report is very small by SI.com but could be serious if Goddard assulted the police officer. This would be a big loss for Marshall if Goddard isn't there this year. Apparently, an Ohio State player, Redgie Arden, was the reason for the fight which resulted in himself being hospitalized and Goddard being thrown in jail overnight.

Tricky Falcon -- That was sort of what I was thinking ... what the heck was Arden doing there in the first place? I know he's from Ironton (right up the road from Huntington), but how stupid is that? I'm definitely not defending the Marshall player, but I just wonder what Arden was thinking. This isn't exactly the first time Arden has gotten himself into some sort of trouble.
