Akron going for 6th straight win at Anderson Arena!

Post by BGSU33 »

Enough is enough already with these guys....can we please put an end to that streak! Come on Falcons, who has the "home court" advantage between BG & Akron in Anderson Arena? It's Senior Day, it's very likely to be your last game in the building this year and for several of you, maybe the last game there in your career. Make it count....BEAT AKRON!

+1!!!! Let's go Falcons! I NEED to see a Victory this year!!! Not to mention, two of the mascots will be "be-headed" which should help attendence, until about halftime. Can't wait for this game!!!

Question is??? The women will probably draw about 2500 for the Kent game (weather permitting). Will everyone stick around to watch our last place Men's team?

BG loses 74-68. Good thing our women's team beats Akron all the time...43-2 lifetime against the Zips.

The men fell behind by 13 at the half and couldn't get closer than 4 the rest of the way. We simply don't match up with Akron at all.

Well I guess I was right? Offical attendance has the women out drawing the men's team once again in attendance. And Akron appeared to have a very strong showing from what I could tell.

Very strong showing as in fans? They had a 1/4 of the bottom row on their side. Maybe 75 people max. No where near what I've seen other teams bring in there...

It sucks to come up on the short end of this one. Free throws were really the difference maker. I'll tell you this though, the Falcons fought like crazy to get back in this game and make it close. This was a completely different team than the one that played AT Akron a month or so ago. Keep up the progress, men!
