LO & TRACY "INJURIES"?

Post by mustangfalcon »

Anyone listen to Coach Miller's postgame interview from Buffalo? He speaks of "knee injury" for Lauren and also an "injury" for Tracy........it sounded like Tracy's has been an issue for a while, although with Lauren, it sounded like it happened at Buffalo.........

Inquiring minds want/need to know! What is the real scoop!? Anyone??............

Yep. Sounds like a real "mystery". Curt Miller's a real "honest" guy. He wouldn't "mislead" us.

Seriously. Do you have any actual "reason" to believe there's a "real scoop" here that we're not being told?

What I heard him say was that Lauren injured her knee late in the Buffalo game. She was in pain and being evaluated by the trainers. I am sure we will know more about this as soon as there is more to tell.

In response to a question if the injuries were of the wear and tear/nagging type of injuries that come from a long season, he said that Tracy's was of that sort, but not Lauren's.

At this point, all anyone can do, is hope and pray for the best.

Sentinel-Tribune is reporting Tracy is less than 100% and Curt confirmed that Lauren indeed injured her knee and is day-to-day and her status for Saturday is unknown.

I wonder if this is the same knee she hurt last year in the MACC game against Ball State.

Ugh. This isn't good. Hope they get better and are able to go on Sat. I wonder if this is why TP's mins have gone down lately.Good thing we have Tamika to pick up some slack at pg. Steffen and Clapper might see more time as well. Clapper shot well at UB and would like to see her get some more mins.

Peregrinner - please, CHILL! I wasn't using "quotation marks" to infer disbelief. I was actually using quotation marks as ACTUAL quotes from Coach Miller. However, I will admit - my unwise use of the phrase "real scoop" might have been interpreted to mean I thought there was ANOTHER story - - but all I was interested in knowing was MORE information: I should have said: "Details, please!"

My apologies. We just have far too many people who show up here and in their first post, spread rumors about things and attempt to inspire controversy. I guess my typing got ahead of my brain there.

Again, my bad.
