With BG losing today it has guaranteed that the team will either finish as the #9 or #10 seed.
OU and BG both lost today, putting both teams at 6-9 in the conference. BG loses the tie breaker to Western, so even with a BG win against OU, and a Western loss to Ball State on Thursday, BG cannot catch Western. BG and OU holds the tie breaker over Northern Illinois, so Northern cannot catch BG or OU. So if BG beats OU on Thursday they will end up as the #9 seed. If BG loses to OU, BG will be the #10. Regardless they will open the MAC Tournament on the road.
