First Round Predictions

Post by TheMACer »

I wanted to share this here and see how everyone else's bracket would compare. The only road winner we're picking this weekend is ND over Ohio State. It'll be real hard for the other three road teams to get any wins IMHO.

This could be the last hockey series that Bowling Green ever plays in, with its future up in the air.

"Major coverage for a major conference"....uhhh, yeah...not! Don't talk about it if you don't know the whole story. You've just lost all credibility.

I really do appreciate seeing BG hockey coverage, especially on a MAC website! I just hope that you will find the time to get the information correct when posting about it. Given what a B!G story this was in the CCHA and the college hockey world in general, one would think that you'd want to keep up on the latest news regarding the storied Falcon Hockey program. Just hang around this board more often and you'll find out everything you need to know about latest Falcon Hockey program news!! ANYTHING that's printed/posted out there about the program, the alums, etc., will end up on this site, thanks to its wonderfully, supportive, and loyal fans!!!

FALCON HOCKEY ROCKS!!!!
AND ALWAYS WILL!!!!

:supz:

SWEEEEEEEEEEP duh mavs!!!!!!

Alaska/Western - Alaska sweeps

OSU/ND - OSU in 3

Michigan/Lake - Michigan in 3

BG/UNO - I'm doing it, I'm calling the upset. From what I remember about my only ever trip to UNO during the 07/08 was that what they consider the defining moment in their program's history was when they beat us in the playoffs (I believe it was the playoffs, and I believe it was their first ever playoff series win in program history, if I am wrong please let me know). Any ways they consider a series win against us as the defining momet for their program, well I say the defining on ice moment in our program's road back to glory will be sending duh mavs off to the WCHA with a L in their final CCHA game. BG in 3
BGSU c/o 2009 & 2013

That has never really been the case with the present history of Akron soccer, past history of Falcon men's track, and Central Michigan's wrestling program.

Let's not forget the synchronized skating of MiAudi.

Longer shots are BG's women's bball and Ohio's volleyball squads.

As far as that article, it was basically a cursory review with all information and stats taken from the CCHA site. It was a decent attempt but can't be confused with in-depth analysis.

My Predictions:(I dont like the BG one but..)

(#5)Alaska sweeps (#12)Western MI 2-0
(#6)Nebraska-Omaha over (#11)BG 2-1
(#10)Lake State over (#7)Michigan 2-1
(#9)Notre Dame sweeps (#8)Ohio State 2-0

Alaska, Notre Dame, and Nebraska-Omaha have all been picking up momentum in the Second Half of the season, I think esp Alaska will have no problem rolling over Western. BG will be lucky to get a win, but I think it's possible if they continue playing well. Ohio State has been slumpping lately and I think Notre Dame will get back to where we expect them. Michigan is beat up, starting goalie Hogan was hurt on Thursday against ND (groin) and didnt play Sat at Notre Dame with Jr goalie Hunwick getting his first collegiate start, I blieve he is questionable for next weekend.

Links for Friday and Saturday series for BG/nebraska back in October. Series was a slip one game a piece. With BG winning in a controversial shootout win on Friday.

BG is playing well currently and are primed to pull an upset.

ROLL ALONG..................
