I'll be lucky to get to 3 games this year with my current work sked...Wed-Sat 3rd shift. Hopefully that changes before football season gets here.

Overall, I'm not impressed with this schedule. It kinda sux, acutally. No game at Akron this year...which really blows.

I would not say this is a tough set of games... I understand that this is a deceivingly challenging group of teams...however its the most realistically winnable o-o-c schedule we have had in years. O and Notre Dame and BG have two things in common...Tulsa n Western Mich.

No Toledo game for me for the 1st time in a decade. Rats. Due to work the only weekday game I can make is the day after Thanksgiving. Hopefully I'll be able to make Marshall, Michigan, Buffalo or OU.

I'm never totally happy with the schedule, But there's no use in complaining about it.

So once again we only play five, not all six, east teams. Why? Wasn't the goal to rotate the off-balance schedule? We don't play Akron ... bummer. I was looking forward to starting 1-0 at their new stadium.

I do like the west draw, though. Sure, it looks like we got some of the best from the West. Keep in mind - CMU has a new coach who seems like a bit of a stretch to go from position coach to head coach. Yeah, Butch Jones did that too and did well, but unlike Jones, Enos doesn't inherit Dan Lefevour. Not saying CMU is going to be bad, but I expect them to drop significantly. WMU was young last year and could be better this year, but they are losing a lot of offensive talent so it could be a wash. And of course we always play UT and I 100% believe Timmy is not a good coach, only a good recruiter. He doesn't have the ability to get the most out of his players. Ask Oklahoma State how their defense has done since seeing him run away from town. I don't expect them to improve.

So let's count our luck ... we don't play NIU, clearly the class of the west if you ask me, and we don't play Ball State, a team I expect to improve drastically this year.

Isn't having Temple in the league just awesome? :?

Not only no game "at" Akron, but no game "vs" Akron this year. We've missed Temple the last two years, it looks like Akron is now in that rotation.

I wish BG had on the schedule a game closer to Charlotte. That is my only complaint about the schedule.
