Cleveland is a great city and very cool. Does it have problems? No doubt. But it ain't Youngstown or Toledo.

Don't know about Youngstown but I agree that it sure isn't Toledo. Maybe someday it could be with a lot of hard work...

Anyone have these two from Wed's quarter against Miami? They used about 2 minutes to trash Cleveland about the "Lake catching on fire" and how the city was labeled the "most miserable place to live", rehashing the overused and stale "Mistake by the lake". I was listening on the net and was rather pissed at them both for the comments they made. Cleveland is a great city and very cool. Does it have problems? No doubt. But it ain't Youngstown or Toledo.

Boys, next time do some research. It was the Cuyahoga River that caught fire in 1969, not Lake Erie. At least know what you're talking about before making fools of yourselves. And if Cleveland is such a hole, do yourselves a favor and stay home next time. Keep in mind a large number of BG grads are in the Greater Cleveland area.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, Toledo was playing the better basketball early on. It took a while for BG to turn it on.

Also, I along with Anthony were the announcers. I suppose you missed what we said during Saturday's game where we thanked everyone involved in the city of Cleveland. The people were great, including everyone at our hotel, Tower City, Quicken Loans Arena, all the restaurants, and the city as a whole. And it wasn't 2 minutes, more of a quick comment that lasted a few seconds. We enjoyed our time very much, of course winning had a great part of that. We were happy to be there as much as any other Falcon fan.

I am the one who referenced Forbes and who made the cleveland remarks that you took offense to... Later on in the broadcast I not only thanked our hotel and the Q for their hospitality but also the city of CLE for hosting a great tourney and then went on to mention "mac fan fest"@ tower city and what a great atmosphere the city provided for us. We know that's not true. You would first have to prove yourself worthy of your blue and gold skirts just like I and every other Rocket fan.

See I didn't get that all. Mike Case is from Youngstown and is the sports director for WFMJ. I thought they did a good job.
