Lets see- he forced his way into a single woman's home, choked and assaulted her boyfriend- Yeah, I'd say he's in trouble! OH,WAIT! That was the OTHER guy that's in trouble. Cross was the victim. Says so on the police report. :roll:

Cross was a sucky basketball coach and no matter what comes out in the future I've seen nothing that makes him any different than a whole lot of guys I know. So far I see ntohing that got him in trouble except his inability to recruit a decent point guard or keep the players he did recruit.

Well hot damn, you're right. Maybe the Bland *is* just out to get the guy. How could the BG grads on the staff let that happen? We could use him around for awhile.

I must have been thrown out by the "approximately 1 minuet" later line.... there was a fight brewing and they had time to dance?

Hackenberg has an editorial on Cross today and his take is that despite all parties (Cross, AD, trustees) saying Cross quit, he was in reality fired. His reason is that Cross will remain on the payroll until Aug 1. Where else can you 'quit' and still get paid for the next six months?
