Wow! Wouldn't that be fun. But haven't heard anything about Omar. They signed John Dutton at QB, he is a 2 time Arena Bowl Champion.

Corey is pretty excited and working hard to get in shape. His knee is holding up well so keep your fingers crossed. Corey has his work cut out for him to make the team, wish him luck. Soon we could be able to show the Q how BGSU rocks!

They report for camp on March 13th. First game is in Cleveland against the Arizona Rattlers on April 3rd. They will then be on the NFL Network on April 9th against The Chicago Rush (in Chicago)

What does it mean if they are placed on the refuse to report list? Are they refusing to show up for team workouts?

From what I read up on it is like the practice squad, they dont count as a roster spot quite yet.

It pretty much means they didn't show for the start of camp. They have forfeited their roster spots. Basically they didn't honor their contracts. It doesn't appear that its too big of a deal, But they most likely won't be on the team when the season begins.

The Gladiators had their team scrimmage and open house last Thursday night. Corey was looking a lot like his old self, he was very fast and always seemed to be the first one down the field on kick coverage. But on one kick cover he was closing in to make a tackle and got pushed from the back, this took him out of stride and when he tried to catch himself, he pull a hamstring and his night was finished. This resulted in him being cut the next day.

On a brighter note, Steve Sanders had a great night with some outstanding catches. He is a definate keeper for the glads. Also Charles Sharon showed up and signed on that thursday and I am sure he will make the roster too. So we will have two BGSU receivers playing for the glads. The team looked really good and it should be an exciting season. Everyone should attempt to catch a game. Remember they will be on the NFL network on April 9th.

On another note: The glads team chiropractor appears to have corrected an issue with Corey's replacement PCL. Seems the ligament was impinged in his knee joint. The chiropractor dug his thumbs into Corey's knee and pulled the ligament out of the joint. Corey described this as a rubber band snapping back, after that Corey has not felt any pain in that knee when sprinting and appeared to have his old speed back.
