Go RIT!!
With two former BGSU players (and former assistants under Buddy) coaching RIT, there is no question who I am rooting for. They have been in Division 1 for only five years and they are in the final four!!!! Good luck Wayne Wilson and Brian Hills. Remember your Alma Mater is looking for a coach!

Re: Go RIT!!
I am DEFINITELY rooting for RIT!!! Since I'm on spring break during the finals, I won't have any problem going to the semis! I'm watching the Yale/BC game right now. BC ahead 5-2 in the 2nd. Wouldn't that be a riot to see a Wilson-Hills vs. Jerry York Final? I'd still root for RIT!!!!bgpuckster wrote:With two former BGSU players (and former assistants under Buddy) coaching RIT, there is no question who I am rooting for. And puckster...I want WILLY to stay behind our bench!! PERIOD!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Re: Go RIT!!
Would anyone be so kind to send me score updates from the RIT game? I have to work until 9 tonight.
Check out our new BGSU hockey site: http://www.bgsuhockey.com

Drew, USCHO does a live blog if you can keep a browser open at work: http://www.uscho.com/news/id,18569/Froz ... rsday.html
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.
Re: Go RIT!!
10 minutes in and RIT is down by 2. Apparently, nobody gave thought to how to use a football scoreboard for hockey....

Re: Go RIT!!
End of the 1st, 2-0 Wisconsin. Bowling Green's '84 team has been mentioned a LOT!

Re: Go RIT!!
6-1 Wisconsin at the end of 2. And I'll say now, ESPN is horrid to watch. I'm sick of Tiger Woods, and playing the interview with the Wisconsin player, after a commercial break in the FINAL minute of the period and almost missing the RIT goal because of it definitely shows they don't care. [/rant]

Well they were going to run wall-to-wall WNBA draft coverage, but when they found out Prochaska was staying at BG for her senior season they decided to go with golfpdt1081 wrote:And I'll say now, ESPN is horrid to watch. I'm sick of Tiger Wood

Re: Go RIT!!
I was so disappointed to see RIT get beaten. I was at the game and unfortunately it was boys among men. RIT was beaten in every facet of the game. I think our BGSU Falcons would have given Wisconsin a better game. However, a big shout out to the RIT fans. They were awesome and had the biggest contingent and were loud.
