I helped tear down the goal posts when they beat the Oakland Invaders during the 1983 playoffs.

Imagine that! Tearing down goal posts at a pro game.

The USFL was fun.

Too bad they lost the longest pro football game ever played the next year at Los Angeles.

I was. My neighbor took me to the game... and he about stained his pants when I took the field.

Yeah, that game was something. It was like 90 degrees. Those players were gassed by the end.
