4 more homers for the good guys. 2 by Dennis Vaughn and 1 each by Derek Spencer and Matthew Pitzulo! 8 strong innings for Kevin Leady, 9 hits, 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.

Unfortunately, Kent is playing lowly Akron this weekend so it looks like we can only hope for a tie atop the division, but you never know.

Freakin' Awesome! BG plays long ball again. Kent State beat Akron, 13-6, so we remained tied for first. Hopefully, BG will get the sweep and the Zips will find a way to beat Kent...I don't wanna share the title with them.

Nine seniors will lace up their cleats for the final time at Warren Steller Field including Mark Galvin, Dennis Vaughn, Richie O’Brien, David Borcherdt, Brandon McFarland, T.J. Blanton, Logan Meisler, Kevin Leady and Derek Spencer. The senior class has decided to go out wearing the throwback uniforms first dawns against Kent State last Saturday afternoon for the home crowd to see for themselves. First pitch will be thrown at 1:05 p.m. ET.

Those throwback unis are SWEEEEET. There is a cool falcon patch on the left sleeve. Thank you Seniors!!
