Falcons win 9-8 over Buffalo on Derek Spencer's walk off homer in the bottom of the 9th! Unfortunately, Kent State routed Akron 20-7 so BG and Kent are co champs.

Agreed! We got a very tough draw with Ball State in the opening game as the Cardinals were running the show until the final weekend as you mentioned. Keep in mind, Ball State also won the series against BG in Bowling Green this year and even beat us 32-10! No, not in football, in baseball, this year! It goes without saying for any team in this tournament, but you REALLY need to win that first one out of the gates. The last two years we've come into this thing as MAC Champs and hit a wall. Maybe this year we can finally clear the hurdle. Out of the eight teams in it, I think Ball State (the #4 seed) are Kent State (the #2 seed) are the teams to beat. But I sure as heck would love to see the #5 seed win it and get to Regional! Go BG!!!
