This weekend is the big United States Polka Association festival at the Doubletree Hotel on Quarry Lane in Independence, Ohio. It is a fabulous Polish-American cultural event...hope to see lots of BG people there Saturday and Sunday nights!
Also, I just got elected to a university committee on athletics! I value the opinions of everyone who cares about BGSU, so here is my email address for thoughts, complaints, questions or concerns: [email protected]

Re: United States Polka Association and Sports
Congratulations! What is the athletic committee for?
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Could this be the weekend that the mystery of "Who Stole the Kishka" is finally solved?

I always figured that Jasiu, the guy who "found" the kiszka, is the one who actually stole it, but I have a suspicious mind.

Combining these two subjects into one thread makes me think of a bakery that also does oil changes.
