The Punches NO ONE is Talking About
How is it that there is nothing on ESPN.com or the Magic's website or Boston's website about the TWO punches that Kevin Garnett struck Dwight Howard with during game six last night? Twice, Garnett reached back and punched Dwight Howard in the thigh. Was there even a whistle when it happend? I was watching in a bar with music playing. I expected there to be a "David Stern reviewing Howard/Garnett incident" story this morning but it's not happening. Did I imagine this incident? It did really happen, right?

Garnett punched Howard twice and still bitched to the ref when on foul was called on Garnett.

Good no calls by refs. Made up ever so slightly for the fifteen "accidental" (according, ad nauseum, to the guys doing the play-by-play) elbows Howard and other Magic players slung at the Celtics who still beat them and went on the the NBA FINALS!!! WITH Kevin Garnett! Go Celts!

Could there be a more vomit-inducing finals matchup? I'd rather watch Dragic and Vujacic in a cage match than any of these finals whine-fests. July 1st can't get here fast enough.cw08 wrote:Two wrongs don't make a right. Had Phoenix made it I'd be ambivalent about the Celts as nobody is more deserving of a title than Nash. But the Lakers? Go Celts!

The Celtics are the biggest collection of horse's asses since the bad boys pistons. Robinson, Rondo, Garnett, Wallace, and Perkins are just straight douchebags, and Pierce and Allen flop and whine like they've been shot anytime somebody touches them.h2oville rocket wrote:Had Phoenix made it I'd be ambivalent about the Celts as nobody is more deserving of a title than Nash. I still can't root for the Lakers, though.
Go.......Blackhawks?

I hate the Lakers far less. Nate Robinson getting a ring would disgust me much more than Artest. I'd rather see these teams there than Orlando, though. I can't stand Van Gundy or Howard. I'm glad Vince Carter brought them down as much as I said he would. Hilarious that anyone thought he'd push them over the top I don't care for either of these teams, but it's more of the same, rather than crowning a guy like Dwight Howard, a glorified defensive specialist who carries himself like he's the star of the league.

Just tell me your favorite team and I'll name five players who do the same. I'll agree on Wallace. The rest are honorable young men who have bonded together to acheive a noble goal and refuse to be deterred. If they are passionate in this pursuit do we degrade them with comparisons to stinky animal parts? The Laker on the other hand aspire to someday be worthyof being compared to stinky animal parts.

I can't wait for the Finals to be over so the media will finally start covering the real story currently going on. Do they realize LeBron James is going to be a free agent?

Come on, honorable? Kevin Garnett is one of the most classless players in the NBA. Perkins leads the playoffs in technicals. Nate Robinson and honorable in the same sentence? Even Pierce has spit at the Cavs bench before and was enough of a jerk to get stabbed. Get real.h2oville rocket wrote:Jacobs4Heisman wrote: The Celtics are the biggest collection of horse's asses since the bad boys pistons. Celtics/Lakers?...They're all jackholes...and "stinky animal parts"....is that a reference to one or more of the Kardashian sisters?

Do you pay ANY attention to this board? Have you EVER read one of my posts? "Get real"? Have I EVER been real? Dude, I hate Kobe Bryant with the heat of a million suns. The day he signs with the Celtics he will become one of the finest gentlemen the sport has ever known. He'll rank up there with Scooter McDougle, Danny Ainge (post Celtic but before he went to Arizona where he immediately returned to loser status) and Keith Triplett.
Your "Pierce was enough of a jerk to get stabbed" line was hilarious though. Kinda like that jerk John F Kennedy and those other jerks, Reagan, JAckson and the rest. What a bunch of losers.
Go Celtics!!!

Celtics/Lakers?
Wasn't this match up more interesting in the mid-1980s?
