I see no reason why it wouldn't be a fixed floor.

The FBI told Toledo they could not have this feature anymore when they renovated Savage.

The outside work should be done in the next month or two but there's a lot of interior work that will need to be completed. December probably wouldn't be a bad assumption for completion.

Considering that we're not supposed to get the keys until July 2011, that would mean they're way ahead of schedule.

It certainly looks like they're way ahead of schedule. I drove past it again yesterday and it really looks like the outside work will be mostly completed in the near future. I'm sure the inside work will take a LONG time though.

Either way, when I drove by there again yesterday I said to myself (for the 1000th time), "Wow...I still can't believe it's ACTUALLY happening."

It won't be ready...at least in my mind...until that huge freakin' falcon statue is unveiled!

The contract could include a bonus for finishing ahead of schedule.

And if they finish early....
They can't possibly move the final game at Anderson Arena up a couple of months or a year. People are planning for the last game and may come in from near and far for the festivities. Outside of fire or natural disaster the move to the Stroh will be as scheduled. PR Nightmare any other way.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Don't forget that the Stroh will be used for more than athletic events. It would be advisable for the company or team running the arena to have some "test runs" with smaller events such as trade shows, sales, high school events, graduations, etc. before having your official opening.

Have they announced if the University will be running the Stroh or will we be hiring an outside firm?
