NCAA vs. OHL (Education Packages)
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Re: NCAA vs. OHL (Education Packages)
FF thanks for thr information, I did know that.
I talked to Coach Schutte after the HOGO. For a young Canadian hockey player in Toronto,
Ottawa, London there is good strong junior hockey in the OJHL or COJHL.
To the young player from The Soo, Thunder Bay, or Sudbury the options are limited, the quality of competition is not there.
They either have to play "back east" or out west or play in the OHL.
I did not realize that in the USHL only 2 imports ( Canadians) can be on a roster.
A 16 year old can play in Salmon Arm or Markham, and then on to the big time at BGSU at age 19 or 20; or he can go OHL at age 17. Interesting dilemma.
