That looks far too much like Boise State's style to me. But who really cares what I think? I'm totally insane. :coo-coo:

Oh yeah, I only pray that we never get rid of our orange helmets. In a time when we are finally starting to gain some national recognition, I think it would be tragic for us to go and make drastic changes to our image like this. I truly do respect the effort that has been put in to this, though!
Speaking of Boise State, though, if we ever decide to go to an artificial turf field, how about a brown field with orange stripes! I think I would sell my brother to see that happen!
Seriously.

Interestingly, there is no consensus at all among fans of other MAC schools.

I guess it's obvious I'm fascinated by that helmet. I like it.
I understand the objections. I like our old logo. I like our orange helmets.
That said, if that white thing appeared next year, I don't think I'd say a cross word about it. It matches our uniforms -- which I wouldn't have chosen, by the way -- very well.
That's just me, though.

I continue to dislike that retail logo, and I certainly don't want it anywhere near our uniforms. I really hate the thought of losing the orange helmets even more.
I have always LOVED the old logo for the sheer simplicity of it. I'd hate to see anything that started to move us away from that logo, and this would do it.

I agree that a white helmet would be an interesting look with our all white road unis. Still undecided about what logo would look best though. I still would like to see what the "BG" with the new retail logo peeking out would look like on the white helmet. If Dayons Den reads this, it is the one that mk455 has in his banner.
