With only 7 starters back in '10, I think this speaks volumes about what a strong program we currently have.

Nice article!! I like the comments from Fells, Geter and Clawson! The kind of attitude we want to hear!!

GO FOOTBALL!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Let's exceed expectations!

Also:
especially tackle Blaec Walker, 6-5, 308 pounds, and guard Chip Robinson, 60-6, 324 pounds, who are both redshirt sophomores.
Holy sh*z, 60-6? Beastly!

True, but @ 324, he's basically a twig.

Wait...haven't I seen this movie? Oh yes, "Attack of the 60 Foot Flat Stanley".

The athletic communications people have some video on their site, and the ones of Willie and Champ interviewing each other are pretty funny.

At that height, Falconboy is going to want Robinson to play basketball instead. A waste of height on the football field.

That is where I would have picked us, but I wouldn't be suprised if we finished anywhere 3rd to last in the East. Temple and Ohio are both legitimate contenders and barring injury we won't be able to top them. The thing that is going to really hurt us is the non conference schedule. I'm not sure if we can win any of these games. Our fans don't understand how good these mid majors are. Offensively our weapons will have to develop really fast, and then our D is a big question mark.

I think that the key this whole season is QB and how quick that person picks up the offense and matures at the college level. I usually dont say that but consider the following; OL has experience and I think will be pretty good. WR depth is really outstanding. Geter is back at RB and Pettigrew will surprise. Also defense will not be any worse than last year. Yea we lost some guys, but lets be honest tackling HAS to be better. That being said I am not sure that the non conference helps much at all. I have us starting 0-4 and losing 2 games in the MAC to Temple and Toledo. That puts us at 6-6, which I think is a reasonable expectation for this team. Clawson should be trying to reload not rebuild. On a side note, this season will tell you alot about the Dave Clawson as a coach and from a player development stand point. All I can say is it should be interesting.
