Have to I saw I heard from some former players who that more often than their classes don't get invations. I will assume this is gospel and say that if it's possible work should be done to get invatitons to each and every class member every year

Last year was the first I'd seen guys from the past 5 to 10 years (Barnett, McConvey, Meloche, Sigalet, Bieksa, etc...). Nice to see really recent guys here (Sexton, Svendson)! Bergeron is on a mission to get as many former players back to BG as possible for the HOGO and other events throughout the year!!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

If you have contact with ANY former players, get their addresses, emails and/or phone numbers to the coach! Garry Galley and Mike Pikul mentioned (when they spoke to the group) that they are going to try to get players back here that haven't been back!!

Article on some of the updates and future plans. I would like to give a small donation to help out, but for some reason I want to see these renderings posted online so I can see what it would be going towards before I contribute. I like visuals and designs. I know they have them. So get people excited with them! What are they waiting for? What am I waiting for? haha. I can't wait to watch some Falcon Hockey especially with the program heading in the right direction.

I was in the arena today. The lights over the ice really light things up.
The place looks like a construction site, but duh it is.

What is it, about 80 days til they drop the puck?

It will look real good, we will be happy.
But we still need to work$$ toward phase II.

Technically there's going to be three stages. The first stage was the initial renovations to get the arena to a moderately modern stage. Second, we need to raise the necessary funds to endow every scholarship so Falcon Hockey never dies. Then, you can move on to a third phase where you try to do a more extensive renovation.

I sent an e-mail to Ms. Baringer asking if it'd be possible for us to come in and take some pictures of the renovations. I'll let everyone know what I find out.

I walked thru the whole building today, and WOW, there's a bunch of work going on. It does, indeed, look like a construction site, and there appears to be much left to do. This is normal, however... construction (especially renovation) always looks like hell during work, but it will all come together in time.

It's still a bit shocking to think that the rink is lit as well in those pictures as it was last year with half the lighting.

"Drawings are done for the other projects and they look really nice, but it just takes more money," Waddle said. "All of the renovations have been done to make everything ready for additional upgrades down the road. "
I know a lot of people would be more apt to open the pocketbooks if they could actually see these drawings.
