Julian Campenni from Wyoming Area High School (PA). He had MAC and Big 10 offers.

ESPN has him as a three-star player in their scouting report:

This is great to see! Hopefully our early verbals can help bring along some more great players.

You beat me to it...just saw it on ESPNU.... offers from Kent, Buffalo,Temple, Indiana... somewhat "smallish" in terms of Ht. (6'0"- 260lbs).... but write ups are positive..."high motor" type guy from the sound of things.

This kid is a beast. He is a run stopping big get who really wanted to be a Falcon- despite Big Ten offer and pressure from Temple etc. Possible true difference maker in a couple years and- again- exactly the kind of recruit you must get. When the whole MAC offers along with a Big Ten school, this is the kind of student-athlete you must have. Height will be non issue with his leverage and strength and athleticism - especially down the road a short bit.

FF1, Thanks for the "updated" info... I was pleasantly surprised to see BOWLING GREEN receiving a verbal on ESPNU...but your commments help "seal the deal" in my opinion.... the WR from Mich. seems smallish too, but supposed to be a 4.45 kid? Again, just happy to see us "finally" getting some verbals. Seems like we're hitting W.Pa. harder than ever.... Still biased in that I'd like to see more NE Ohio kids coming to BG.falconfan1 wrote:This kid is a beast.
