Stroh "Strips"?
Anyone know what the dark "strips" are on the North side of the Stroh? They've been putting them up for past few days..and I'm trying to figure out whether they're furring strips for something, or simply decorative.

Possibly they are going to add another surface and these are strips to hold that surface?

They're going to put fur on the outside of the Stroh Center? Sweet!!
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

FUR IS MURDER!
Whoa, where'd that one come from.
The place is looking very nice. Now if we could only get the Sunoco station filled with something, and the Victory Inn torn down. Or maybe the Big Boy renovated.

If I had a million dollars
I'd buy you a fur Stroh
But not a real fur Stroh
That's cruel

You will see the silver siding going up like the south side of the building.

BTW - Your question is being answered as we speak. Looks like some type of concrete or brick-looking product. I guess the jealous Toledo posters were wrong once again about the outside looking like a pole barn. Big surprise, huh?

Ohhhh. That is reflective metal siding. They've already installed it on the other side. Shines rather brightly.

Fetterman was the pole barn, Stroh is the double-wide. Get your architectural abominations straight, Tom.Redwingtom wrote:BTW - Your question is being answered as we speak. The practice gym is located on the west end of the building (closest to Haven House apartments).
