Some nice video clips of him.

How will he do kicking into the winds of BG?

I'm impressed though. And a good student? Even more impressed.

Just from watching the vid, the kid looks like a stud. Nice get for us. Will have to see how he does in BG wind though , the ultimate test for any kicker.

Looks like a pretty solid leg! 4.0 GPA...perfection. The wind will be a challenge but it seems the Sebo Center has cut down on the wind inside the Doyt...anyone think so? Thanks for the update, Flip.

I concur, I don't think the wind has been as bad the last couple years.

However, I certainly remember how excited we all were to get a certain "smart" "stud" kicker from Florida a few years back and he turned out to be a Tinkerbell in inclement weather.

Tate also caught 3 passes and had 2 interceptions in his last game! Sounds like a pretty good athlete.

Tate is not big- but wiry tough and indeed (in HS) more than a kicker. And his team needs all the athletes it can get down there. As the film shows, he has a cannon leg/foot. Nice family and a fellow who really wants to be a Falcon.

Always good to get a guy who really appreciates the opportunity. And from what a hear, this young man feels just that way.

Go Falcons!

He'll make an excellent defensive lineman for us someday. :-D

Always excellent to hear another quality kid on and off the field pick BG. Roll Along!

Great recruit! We need kickers badly, and he also seems to fit Clawson's goal of getting high-character athletes.
