Happy Accident

Post by h2oville rocket »

I was grilling a steak for dinner (everybody else opted for frozen meals  ) and thought I'd create a little salsa to top it. Took a bunch of fresh garlic, basil, rosemary, onion and several varieties of tomatoes all picked from the garden, nad threw it in the MAgic Bullet to chop. Unfortunately, the levelof discrimination in MBs is not good. Basically ended up with mush. Thought to self "can't make it chunkier but I COULD make it runnier" so five more seconds and I had a beautiful sauce that nicely complemented the steaks. Lesson learned: Its hard to screw up using fresh stuff from the garden.

Lesson Two: MBs make great margaritas and smoothies, excellent for chopping herbs and curing syphillis but not so good for wet stuff like tomatoes.
