Got to go to InfoCision Stadium for their opener against the Orange of Syracuse. My fiancee, Amanda, is a grad-student/GA there so free tickets are a perk. Akron looks downright awful this year. Anyone who is still mad at Patrick Nicely for backing off his BG verbal and heading to Akron should now consider THANKING him. That kid is not a good quarterback. Geeze. Both times Akron got something going, Nicely screwed it up. Just bad game management, bad throws, bad footwork, just plain bad!
Seems that Akron has a bunch of money they don't know what to do with as they had On-Field pyrotechnics to bring the players out on the field...seemed to pump them up, until their first 3-out. Man, I wish we played them this year!
