BGSU Photos

Post by Falcon137 »

Does anyone know where I could find pictures of BGSU, specifically University Hall and the Doyt, for framing? I'm looking to hang a few pictures in my home and office but can't find any good shots. I would really like one of the Doyt from either the BG Minnesota or Boise game.

Funny you should mention the Minny game. I was up in the Sebo this afternoon and hanging on the wall in the office area is a HUGE panoramic shot of the inside of the stadium at the Minny game. It was taken from the East side, shows the fans on both sides along with the whole field, the evening sky, and the Sebo! VERY cool shot! No idea if they have it for purchase, but you could call the bookstore and see if they have it. It was an amazing picture!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

That picture was sold by the Athletic Department (not sure if it was a Falcon Club fundraiser or not). Limited edition print (100 total) autographed by Craig Bell. I have #42 hanging in my office.

I believe the cost was around $350. That included the frame.

If anyone is interested, they can call (419) 372-2401 to see if any of these prints are still available.

I have the same photo in question (#50/100) in my living room. Absolutely love that photo. Got it through one of the many online auctions on the Athletics website.

I've got #8 of that same pic hanging in my foyer....wonderful wife bought it for my birthday... what a NEAT present!!!! She got in touch with the guy who does the "fan promotions" at basketball games...sorry, but I can't recall his name, other than he put ME on the floor for the last women's game (reg. season), in "honor" of my birthday too. 8-)
