Almost 60% of the team has one year or less playing experience. Who DIDN'T think this was rebuilding year.

I'm a patient man and only down 13 after giving up 360 total yards is a cup half full, my friends.

Tulsa game note say to call them TU or UT even though its the University of Tulsa, I also find that kinda weird

Is it just me or does Willie Geter look like a different back this year? Seems to make faster cuts and runs harder. Of course as I say that, he gets rocked in the backfield for a loss.... watching it on channelsurfing.net, by the way.

Why aren't we throwing the ball away instead of giving up the sack?

VDub26Falcon wrote:I understand that there are "oddities" but how can you follow "University of Tulsa lead 10-7" with "TU football will be back right after this?" Seriously!!!
I don't know why I didn't think of this before...but the TU thing might be a result of the University of Texas being referred to as...dare I say it....UT. (I think I just gagged from typing that) And since geographically, the two are in the same region, it makes a little sense. That may not be it at all...but it's worth considering. Or maybe it's because Tulsa is just plain weird. :P

On a pseudo-positive note, my other team - the Oklahoma State Cowboys (my other orange school :D ) is beating Troy, 34-30, at the end of the 3rd. Hopefully, they can get a little more done during the 4th!

Either way, I still don't like Tulsa. And I like them even less right now.

Kamar Jordan has some nice moves. He's going to be our top receiver this year.

I honestly can't answer that question, but I believe the answer is yes. I believe it is one of the deep officials in the defensive backfield (not sure of his position title).

Touchdown! Schilz rushes for a short TD. BG goes for two, Hodges catches the ball at the back of the endzone, but doesn't get a foot down, so the two pointer fails!

Why can't we tackle? It's like some of our guys are playing with no arms....
