I get to watch a 1 vs. 2 battle Friday night at Akron's renovated soccer pitch. I'll tell you what, the World Cup this year really got my soccer juices flowing and I am pumped for this match. Anyone else in the area going to check it out? Freak?

Sorry bro...either gonna take in the Green-Cloverleaf game over in Medina Co or head over to the JAR and watch BG and Akron in Vball....leaning toward football. BG actually did pretty well against Akron this year losing 2-0. Hell Akron beat UNC and Wake Forest 3-0 and 4-0 and they're ranked. Akron, no question, has the best team in the nation so far...

Ended up going to the Vball game at the JAR. Afterward, we walked over to the soccer field...holy crap what a crowd. It was PACKED! Almost 5,000 fans. Zippy won BiG, 4-0.

Hell of a game...great atmosphere at their soccer pitch. Had a great time, and it's always nice to see Tulsa lose at anything.
